We met on the first day of freshman orientation at the University of Dayton. After Brian introduced himself, we quickly realized how much they had in common. Not only were we both from the Chicago suburbs, we were also both studying design. Olivia was immediately interested, and slyly asked for Brian’s number by suggesting the entire design program exchange contact info. Throughout the next year, we spent time getting to know each other both in classes and at day drinks, and ended up falling for each other. On the last day of freshman year, Brian asked Olivia out, and she said yes!
After graduating, we decided to move back to Chicago and spent our twenties living it up in some of the city’s best neighborhoods - Old Town & Wrigleyville. We’ve become regulars at the Lincoln Park Farmers’ Market, Corcoran’s on Wells, and the city’s many art festivals and concerts.
We also love to travel, and took our first trip to Palm Springs together in 2016. During that trip, we hiked the Tahquitz Canyon trail that leads up to a beautiful waterfall. On New Year’s Eve 2024, Brian brought Olivia back to that same trail and proposed. We celebrated with champagne at the Parker, and now, we can’t wait to bring you all to our special place!
